The Though Body Bridges requires eight (8) small (1/4") holes to be drilled through the instruments body at "AA" and "BB" locations.

First, position supplied template on the face of instrument. Locate this template on center with current bridge location. If this is a new instrument- map the proper location for the intonation line (2x the distance between the leading edge of the Nut and the center of the 12th fret). You may use thread or thin cotton string in place of the two outer strings to help you guide the bridge saddle into position.

Now, mark where the new mount holes will be using a center punch and carefully drill (8) 1/4" holes completely through the instruments body. Use care in doing this as not to harm the paint or finish.

Install the Through Body Bridge assemblies into the "AA" and "BB" until flush with top (or instruments face).

Now, on the back side of the instrument lay the backplate over the holes, center the backplate over the eight 1/4 inch holes making sure that the (4) recessed holes in the backplate are in line with the holes for the "BB" posts.

Now install the (4) "K" screws (6-32 x 1-1/4") through the "BB" holes in the backplate and screw them into the "through-posts" of the bridge until snug. The "AA" screws (which are pre-installed in the bridge) can now be turned CC (counter-clockwise) until they contact the inside of the backplate.

Adjust the height of your new bridge using the (supplied) 5/64" Allen Wrench. Rotating the "K" screws equally with the rear elevation "H" screws CC (counter-clockwise) which will keep each bridge unit level with the face of your instrument.
